An independent community

The Greens Community is an independent website for unit owners and renters at The Greens Association. This is not an official association or management website and does not speak on their behalf.

Membership and approval

Public pages describe the group. Member discussions and shared documents are intended for approved members. New registrations require administrator approval. Owners and renters use the same shared discussion areas.

Your WordPress account stores your username, email address, password information, profile details you choose to add, and approval status. Choose a public name you are comfortable showing alongside your contributions. Your account email is not displayed with your replies.

Notices and conversations

When sharing a notice, preserve its full wording and identify its source and original date where available. Put your own introduction, questions, corrections, and opinions outside the quoted notice. Keep replies attached to the relevant discussion.

Share material you are entitled to share. Remove private personal information from notices and attachments before posting. Do not publish passwords, financial account details, private contact lists, or other residents' personal information.

Community guidelines

• Discuss the issue and treat neighbors with respect.
• Keep questions and replies relevant to the topic.
• Distinguish a personal opinion from a fact or a quoted notice.
• Avoid harassment, personal attacks, and unsupported accusations.
• Respect privacy and ask permission before sharing someone else's private material.
• Administrators may review, correct, restrict, or remove material and manage membership to keep the community useful.

What contributions store

Topics and replies store your account association, text, posting time, and edits. If you subscribe to a forum or topic, the site can send related messages to your account email. Documents are stored on this hosting account and served through the download system.

Other approved members can read and copy material they can access. Member-only access cannot prevent a member from sharing what they have read or downloaded.

Cookies, technical records, and backups

WordPress uses cookies for sign-in and account preferences. The hosting provider and site software may keep access and security records, including connection details. The download plugin is configured not to store IP addresses in its download reports; hosting logs may still record them.

Site and account records remain until they are changed or removed. A previous copy may remain in a hosting backup after removal from the active site.

Videos and external links

Video hosting has not been connected yet. Links to Facebook and other websites take you to services with their own account and privacy practices. The Facebook group and this website manage membership separately.

For membership questions, corrections, account removal, and requests about contributed material, email community@thegreenscondogroup.com. We may need to verify that the request concerns your account or contribution.
